Kokeshi
It might not be the first sushi place in Mexico-City, it won’t be the last one either. But it’s a great one. Inspired by the beautiful structure sushi, salmon and Japan I created an iconic system for „Kokeshi“— a very well-made restaurant which is famous for its delicious food.
The color palette reminds of the illuminated streets in Japan, which also gave the idea for the neon lights.
The name Kokeshi (jap. こけし, 小芥子. means „doll“) also found place in the branding as well as the interior design.
